All surgeries are by appointment only. Appointments are available to be booked on the day for urgent matters and in advance for more routine things.
All appointments are normally for a maximum of ten minutes. If you feel that your problem may take longer, it would be helpful if you inform the receptionist when making your appointment.
Urgent appointments
Urgent appointments are available to be booked from 8.00am on the day
You can book an urgent appointment with the following clinicians:

Our trained Care Navigators within the Reception Team will advise you of the most appropriate clinician to see.
Routine appointments
Routine appointments are available to be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.

- First Contact Physiotherapist
- Mental Health Practitioner

Cancel or Change your appointment
You can cancel your appointment easily by using the NHS App.

How to see the Nursing Team
The Nursing Team operate an appointment system. Appointments may be booked in advance. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment by using the main surgery number above.
For routine reviews and vaccinations with the Nursing Team, we may offer for you to attend for an appointment via text message. These include links to book your appointment online.
You can book a routine nurse appointment with:
- Practice Nurse
- Health Care Assistant
- Assistant Practitioner
Our Reception Team will advise you of the most appropriate person to see.
Speaking to the Doctor over the telephone
If you wish to speak to a Doctor or Advanced Nurse Practitioner on the telephone, please liaise with the receptionist to arrange a convenient time.
This will usually be after morning surgery or before or after afternoon surgery.
Extended hours appointments
Appointments are available to book Monday to Friday between 6.30pm and 8.00pm and on Saturday Mornings with the following clinicians:
- Doctor
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Practice Nurse
- Health Care Assistant
- Phlebotomist (blood tests for children aged 2+ and adults)

Out of Hours
The Out of Hours Service is responsible for providing access to services outside the normal working hours of 8.00 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Access to out of hours services may be obtained by ringing the NHS 111 Service. NHS 111 will take your details and may well call you back.
You may be offered advice over the telephone on the best treatment for your illness.
You may be asked to attend a treatment centre.
You may be directed straight to Accident and Emergency.
You could be offered a home visit from a doctor if appropriate.

Home Visits
Patients are asked to attend surgery whenever possible, as there are better facilities there for assessment and treatment.
Patients who are too ill to attend, or who are housebound, should telephone for a home visit, preferably before 10.30 am.
Please give the receptionist as much information as you can, to allow doctors to prioritise their house calls.
Visits are usually done after morning surgery.
